The Royal Norfolk Show this year was our largest investment to date at an event and we had a larger stand on the outside of the BuyLocal Norfolk Marquee than previous years as well as a stand on the inside where we joined around 30 other dependent Norfolk based businesses.. We also had 5 of our Sales and management team attending to support with customer discussions and to hold meetings with some key new suppliers and to handle enquiries on our range of Log cabins, sheds and our landscaping business Installers and Fitters.
Our stand on the outside boasted the lovely Palmako Melanie Corner Summerhouse which for the show we installed in the 28mm version but also comes in a 44mm version. The Melanie Summerhouse itself which is normally installed by our team over a couple of days in customers houses to last many years was fully installed and shingle tiles in our new brown felt shingle tiles which have a 25 year guarantee.

The show itself was a roaring success and a distant memory from the rain and flooding from the previous year. This year soaring temperatures had the crowds all in fine spirits and there was an energy and enjoyment from the visitors as they spent time walking and talking to the stands.
For us the show generated several sales, and some very positive enquiries which we will be contacting in the next few days. The feedback we had on our stand was amazing and thanks to one of our very generous customers who provided us with some wonderful hanging baskets and planters to help decorate the Summerhouse. Also to our Operations Development Manager Kerry who’s parents provided some superb pot plants, ferns and other plants. We had feedback from loads of customers on how brilliant the our Summerhouse display looked and what a fantastic is effort Cabins Unlimited had put into the 2018 show.
It was a hard week in getting it all ready for the public but so rewarding and to leave the show with actual orders made it all the better. Our fitting team, worked really hard not only to install the cabin but to take it down after the show despite hot temperatures.
We was also joined by local talented artist Mellisa Mallice who showcased some of her amazing drawings and she managed to s cure a commission for Christmas Cards for a business. https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/MelissaMaliceArt
