National Apprenticeship Awards Winner

At Cabins Unlimited we have a winner amongst our team and we couldn’t be more proud!

This week is National Apprenticeship Week, designed to highlight the importance of apprentices in the work place both for the business and for the young person themselves.  At City College in Norfolk, as part of this week those apprentices that go that extra mile and really shine out to their employers and their tutors are nominated to receive an Apprentice of the Year Award and we are pleased to announce that our very own Michael Newbold has won in his category.

Last night Michael went to the awards ceremony at Norwich Cathedral to pick up his award along with Company Director Rob Scott.   As  long term readers of our blog will know Michael isn’t the first apprentice through our doors who has gone on to do well and  at Cabins Unlimited we fully support  our apprentices as valued members of the team. It has been a pleasure and sometimes comical to watch Michael grow and learn within the company and like I have said previously we are extremely proud of his achievement and the ideas, skills, knowledge, and humour he brings to the team.

Michael joined us in October 2015 after hearing about the vacancy through taking part in a sponsored swimspa event held by our sister company Spas Unlimited and successfully completed his apprenticeship over 15 months in marketing.

Since completing his apprenticeship Michael has been offered a full time position with Cabins Unlimited as Sales and Services Advisor and is your go to guy on log cabin sales.  So why not talk through your log cabin requirements with him on 01362 470075 or pop down to our shed and log cabin display site in Dereham Norfolk for a friendly chat (and maybe an autograph).

In the words of Alan Sugar-  Michael you are hired, welcome to the A Team
